Mr Andrew Finlayson

MBBS FRACS

Andrew graduated from the University of Western Australia and completed his General Surgery training throughout WA. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He completed three years of post fellowship training in colorectal surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner, Royal Melbourne and North Shore Auckland hospitals.

Andrew has interests in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery of the colon and rectum as well as complex pelvic cancer surgery. He also has an interest in surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, perianal disease including fistulas and haemorrhoids, as well as pelvic floor surgery including prolapse repair and incontinence. Andrew also offers a comprehensive general surgical service including laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder surgery.

Mr Rhys Filgate

BMedSci MBBS (Hons) FRACS

Rhys was raised and educated in Tasmania. He received his MBBS with first class honours from the University of Tasmania in 2007. His internship and residency were completed in NSW prior to being accepted into the surgical training program. He moved to Western Australia in 2010 to complete his general surgical training and was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in early 2015.
